About the Role
As a service technician in fire & security, you will be part of a competent team and work broadly with service assignments and smaller projects. The tasks are varied, and the role involves a lot of customer contact, where you manage the entire chain from first contact to reporting the work. The job is mobile and alternates between visits to customers and your office. Geographically, customers are located in Jönköping and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include;
- Installation, configuration, and commissioning of Schneider Electric’s own product Esmi-FDP/FX.
- Installation, configuration, and commissioning of Schneider Electric’s own product Security Expert.
- Installation, configuration, and commissioning of security systems, e.g.; RCO, Aptus, Assa Arx, Honeywell Galaxy, DSC Power/Neo.
- Advising and developing customer collaborations
- Troubleshooting and corrective service
- Performing contractual service
- Technical support
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who either has an electrical engineering education at the high school or university level, or you work in electrical, telecommunication, networking technology, or engineering in some form, either as a technician or engineer.
If you have experience in installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting fire and security systems, we see this as a significant advantage.
You have a good technical understanding and preferably experience in service and customer contacts from previous roles. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English. A driver's license (B) is required.
