JU is looking for an engaged custodian/property manager for the campus in Gränna, where students both study and live. The role is central to daily operations and involves close contact with international students and staff. As a custodian/property manager at Jönköping University, you will work on the campus area and contribute to a functional environment. You are often the first contact for students in practical and everyday matters. The work includes:

• common custodian tasks
• ensuring that premises, furniture, equipment, and outdoor environments are in good condition
• informing and advising about housing rules, routines, and expectations, as well as providing service related to the campus environment
• handling move-in and move-out related to campus housing
• conducting regular cleaning and housing inspections according to applicable regulations. Performing minor repairs and reporting larger issues to property owners
• managing keys
• helping to organize student activities on campus.

You are a service-oriented and communicative person who easily builds trust. You thrive in a varied role where tasks can change from day to day and where flexibility and initiative are important. You enjoy working closely with people and are comfortable in an international environment. We are looking for someone who has:

• practical knowledge for minor repairs
• good organizational skills
• very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience from similar work and basic knowledge of rental legislation.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon. A probationary period may apply. Working conditions: regulated working hours.
