Substitute for Facility Manager

We are currently looking for a substitute for our facility manager responsible for Anneberg School and Preschool, as well as the preschools in Flisby and Ormaryd.

The facility managers within the Department of Education collaborate and support each other as needed under the leadership of a coordinator. In the role of facility manager, you will work towards five goals. The service must be equitable, resource-efficient, qualitative, assured, and professionalized. RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the facility manager includes operational support. This work involves maintaining the facilities, where you are expected to address minor damages and issues as well as perform simple repairs in the buildings. The job also includes coordinating reports of issues within the organization. In the external maintenance of the organization, tasks include maintaining green areas, fences, gates, parking areas, flower beds, and bushes. In winter, snow removal and ice control are also part of the job.

As a facility manager, you will also work proactively with safety and work environment tasks, in accordance with the Fire Protection Act (LSO). Examples of such tasks include:

• fulfilling tasks according to SBA (the systematic fire protection work)
• participating in playground inspections
• participating in SAM (the systematic work environment work) regarding safety rounds and property inspections in the facilities.

Another significant part of the facility manager's role is to collaborate with various parties regarding the practical school environment for children, students, and staff. The facility manager collaborates with internal and external parties such as landlords, children, students, and staff in the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have a 3-year vocational education and relevant work experience. It is advantageous if you have further training either in the technical field or in the child and youth area.

As a person, you need to have a sense of service, with the ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. You have a good demeanor and adapt information according to the recipient and situation. You are self-driven and structure your approach in various situations. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. To thrive in this role, you should be good at creating contacts and maintaining relationships. We place great importance on personal suitability. A B driver's license is required.
