Waiter/Waitress, Restaurant Operations at Läckö Castle

Seize the opportunity to work at Sweden's most beautiful workplace, where meals, cultural heritage, and stunning nature are ever-present. Our restaurant is located in Naturum Vänerskärgården - the Victoria House, completed in 2013. The building is a symbolic gift to Crown Princess Victoria on her 30th birthday and houses a restaurant kitchen, dining room, InfoPoint/reception, 15 guest rooms, and an exhibition in Naturum Vänerskärgården. Our dining operations draw inspiration from the surrounding area. The classic kitchen, fine local ingredients, and the unique Castle Garden create a common thread where the historic Läckö Castle serves as inspiration and stage for our dining experiences.

Job Description

As a seasonal waiter/waitress, you are our face to the public in our restaurant operations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and excellent service. You have the ability to work independently, but also a strong sense of responsibility in working with your colleagues as you are a link between the kitchen and service. You possess a high sense of service and a genuine interest in our historical destination - we value your ability to create positive interactions between both staff and visiting guests. You work effortlessly in our environments and perform standard tasks while having an eye for details and guests in the overall restaurant environment. You find it easy to collaborate in an active restaurant team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Serving and engaging with guests in our restaurant environment.
• Taking orders, managing beverage service, and setting up tables.
• Cash handling and order processing at your own station.
• Welcoming and seating guests in a shared head waiter responsibility with the rest of the team.
• Prep responsibilities and mise en place.
• Combining food and beverages is a plus.

We place great importance on personal suitability and see it as natural for you to contribute to creating joy at work and to have a positive outlook.

Good language skills in English/German are an advantage.

Good language skills in English are a plus, and applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a driver's license.
