We are over 340 employees at Folktandvården Kronoberg and our operations consist of general dentistry and specialist dental care, a development clinic, mobile clinic, administrative office, and Service Center. We have clinics in 6 of the 8 municipalities in the region, and our common mission is to create good oral health for the people of Kronoberg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will have a developing and stimulating job at a centrally located and well-staffed orthodontic clinic. We are a close-knit team working together - four orthodontists, four orthodontic assistants, two ST dentists, and 10 dental nurses. The atmosphere is good, and we have a close collaboration both within the clinic and with other specialties. Together, we develop specialist dental care in the region, and now we are looking for you who want to join us on this journey!

At our clinic, you will work with the clinical management of referral patients, conduct consultations, and also provide courses for colleagues in general dentistry. Here, you will have excellent opportunities for professional development and research; through FoU Kronoberg, for example, you can apply for research funding, and if you have an ongoing research project, you are welcome to continue it with us.

When you start with us, you will participate in an introductory program that gives you a good overview of all of Folktandvården Kronoberg. You will receive useful information, have the chance to ask questions, and not least, meet other new colleagues from different clinics. Of course, we will ensure that you receive a proper introduction at the clinic as well, so that you quickly get into the job and feel like part of the team.

The orthodontic clinic is located in both Växjö and Ljungby, and all orthodontists work at both locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a dentist with an approved specialist education in orthodontics. As a person, you are engaged, contribute to a good work environment, and you find it easy to communicate and collaborate with others. You are also good at taking initiative and creating structure in the contexts you find yourself in.
