The Skin Clinic in Region Kronoberg is in an exciting phase of development, focusing on close care, digitalization, and improved working methods. In Ljungby, we offer light therapy, medical baths, and other specific nursing tasks in the field of dermatology. We work to ensure that the clinic operates smoothly and that patients receive safe, equitable care. Here, you will work as an independent nurse at the dermatology clinic but share lunch and break rooms with the neighboring clinic, creating a pleasant social atmosphere during the workday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at the dermatology clinic, you will have a varied and independent role with responsibility for planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care. Your main tasks include:

• Care of patients undergoing treatment for skin diseases
• Light therapy and medical baths
• Telephone advice (approximately 1 hour per day)
• Participation in doctor consultations
• Medication management
• Information and advice to patients
• Planning and administration of treatments

In Ljungby, you will work independently as a nurse, but with close support from colleagues in Växjö via phone and regular visits. You should be prepared to share your position between both locations based on the needs of the service. You will receive a long and secure introduction, with training in both Växjö and Ljungby, as well as ongoing internal training and reflection.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed nurse, clinic nurse, or district nurse.
• You are confident in your professional role and used to working independently.
• You have good computer skills and preferably experience with Cambio Cosmic.
• You express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities: you are positive, engaged, solution-focused, and have an easy time collaborating. You see what needs to be done and take initiative.
