The Research Unit, together with the Clinical Trials Unit (KPE), is part of the region's activities for continuous knowledge development and has an important mission to develop clinical studies and support employees in adhering to the legislation regarding research within healthcare. KPE operates broadly within healthcare to build a stable infrastructure for support, development, and integration of clinical drug trials and other studies in clinical practice.

Research nurse is a clear career path for nurses and enables more residents to participate in research projects and drug trials with an increased opportunity for equitable care.

Overall, the mission involves being a qualified support in Region Kronoberg's work with the Research Plan 2027 regarding education and network building within clinical studies and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). The mission also aligns with Budget 2026 and the Pharmaceutical Strategy, focusing on expanding and strengthening Region Kronoberg's participation in research studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work in a dynamic environment where research meets clinical reality? We are looking for an engaged research nurse who wants to work with clinical studies and contribute to the development of new treatment methods.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Being the primary contact for research participants and creating security throughout the study.
  • Coordinating and conducting research participant visits.
  • Performing sample collections, examinations, and managing the distribution of study medications.
  • Collecting and registering data in various research systems with accuracy and structure.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a licensed nurse with an interest in research and development.
  • Has good knowledge of the English language.
  • Has good organizational skills and enjoys varied tasks.
  • Is meticulous, communicative, and has a professional demeanor.

If you also have experience in GCP (Good Clinical Practice) training and experience working with clinical studies/trials, we consider that an advantage.

We plan to conduct interviews on January 12, 14 & 15.
