About the Position

The position is a combined role as Fire Inspector for Malå/Norsjö and Preparedness Coordinator for Malå. You will be part of a small team responsible for the municipality's work in crisis preparedness, civil defense, information security, crime prevention, and security protection, as well as the fire service's preventive activities.

The work is characterized by variation and spans both long-term planning and operational efforts. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders such as municipal operations, authorities, businesses, and volunteer organizations. The position also involves participation in the development of working methods and approaches, both internally and within RSR10.

Job Responsibilities

• Preventive fire protection work
• Inspections according to LSO and permit management
• Handling cases within civil defense
• Coordination and development of the municipality's work with crisis preparedness
• Risk and vulnerability analyses, continuity planning, training, and exercises
• Support to the municipality's crisis management organization as needed
• Development of working methods and approaches internally and within RSR10

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least RIB training and Supervision.
• Experience in inspection work
• Good administrative skills
• Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• Basic knowledge of crisis preparedness, civil defense, and total defense
• Understanding of the municipality's responsibilities under legislation regarding crisis preparedness (e.g., LEH)
• Experience in coordination, planning, or development work

Meritorious:

• Rescue Leader A or B
• Supervision B or Preventive 1 and 2
• Experience working with RSA, continuity planning, or crisis management support
• Experience collaborating with authorities and other external stakeholders
• Experience as an instructor or educator
• Education or experience in community safety, crisis preparedness, or total defense

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and have good administrative skills. You are driven, proactive, and enjoy taking responsibility. Since you will be part of a small workgroup, high demands are placed on your ability to collaborate and be flexible.

The work is varied and may require you to quickly adjust your planning, which means you need to be flexible and resilient to stress. Personal suitability is of great importance.
