About the Position

We are looking for security guards for full-time work during June, July, and August, with the possibility of continuation as a part-time or on-call employee before and after the summer. For the right person, there is also the opportunity for a longer employment. Working hours are varied and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: According to collective agreement

We are looking for someone who can work at least six weeks during the summer period.

Job Responsibilities

As a security guard with us, you can work in the following areas:

Patrolling Security Guard

You work preventively by patrolling objects and areas, primarily by vehicle. Job tasks include checking alarms, doors, and windows, supervising properties, and handling alarm responses. The work is independent and takes place both indoors and outdoors, often at night.

Stationary Security Guard

You work at the customer site as an important representative for both Avarn Security and the customer's business. Job tasks may include reception work, access control, key management, patrolling, monitoring center, reporting incidents, and basic office services.

Supervision & Action

The work includes supervision, actions, and alarm responses. During the day, the position involves store surveillance, both plainclothes and uniformed, focusing on maintaining order and supporting store staff during thefts and disturbances. At night, patrolling and responses are carried out for property emergencies, disturbance responses, burglary alarms, and safety alarms. You take action in case of deviations, document events, and ensure that security procedures are followed.

Personal Qualities

Common to all assignments is that you are calm, meticulous, flexible, and resilient. You work independently, have good judgment, and can combine a service mindset with a clear security focus. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

To be considered, you need to:

• Be at least 18 years old before employment
• Have completed high school (pass in Swedish)
• Have good Swedish and English skills in both spoken and written form
• Have a valid driver's license (B)

You must be unpunished*, drug-free, have organized finances, and maintain good health and fitness. Security guard training is an advantage but not a requirement. If you lack training, we offer training for the right person. Security guard training is planned for the spring. Previous experience in service occupations is an advantage.
