About the Role

We are now looking for a new security guard colleague at Securitas in Umeå to strengthen our team for one of our stationary clients!

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. In our government assignment in Umeå municipality, you deliver safety by being observant and ensuring that everything is in order.

You do this by being present at your workplace, and hopefully, it has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations.

The work is scheduled during the day.

Requirements

Requirements

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard permit
• You have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

We see that you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and manage setbacks well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. You have good communication skills and a willingness to contribute to good collaboration with both colleagues and clients. It is an advantage if you have experience or knowledge of interacting with people and that your work is characterized by a desire to help others, regardless of their backgrounds. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
