Job Responsibilities:

The work involves preventing and managing security risks, controlling access, and ensuring that unauthorized persons do not gain access to protected areas. You will be responsible for conducting personnel and vehicle checks, monitoring facilities, and patrolling to detect and avert threats.

More information will be provided during the interview. This applies to both armed and unarmed positions.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has personal maturity and feels secure in the role of a security guard. Personal characteristics are what determine the best fit. You should possess a high level of security awareness and social competence. We place great importance on your ability to work in a team, but we also expect you to independently identify problems and solve them. To work at certain sites, a security clearance, in-depth check, and security interview will be conducted.

Requirements for Applicants:

• In addition to the personal characteristics we are looking for and describe in the various assignments, you need to meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:
• • at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• • high school diploma
• • good Swedish in speech and writing
• • driver's license B

Desirable Qualifications:

• • civil security guard training (or military security guard training, completed from 2020 or later)
• • security guard training (VU1 + VU2)
• • weapon training

We place great importance on your personal maturity when assessing suitability for the position.

The position is classified in a security category, which is why a security clearance will be conducted, and Swedish citizenship is a requirement.

Additionally, you must be unblemished, drug-free, have a stable economy, as well as good health and physical fitness to be employed by Avarn Security. To work as a security guard, a security guard approval from the County Administrative Board is also required (we will handle that application).

The training must have been completed in 2020 or later, and the training certificate must not be older than 5 years. If you have a security guard training from the Armed Forces without military basic training, you need to complete a shortened security guard training to work as a civilian security guard.
