Product Manager for Leading Player in the Food Industry

Our client is a driving force in the Swedish food industry and is looking for someone to play a key role in shaping the future of digital employee products, from strategy to large-scale implementation.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Product Manager, you will lead a digital product ecosystem that is used daily by thousands of store employees. You play a key role in a strategic initiative to modernize store operations, from strategy to implementation. You will work in a cross-functional product organization and also take on the role of Product Owner for a new team focused on a member application.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

The role involves leading the development of digital products for store employees, focusing on streamlining operational processes through web and handheld solutions. You will be responsible for the product's vision, roadmap, and delivery, as well as translating business needs into scalable features.

Own the roadmap, vision, and delivery – from strategy to rollout and scaling.
Create measurable business and operational outcomes for store efficiency.
Prioritize and manage a value-driven backlog together with architects and tech leads.
Translate operational challenges into user-centered, scalable features for web and handheld solutions.
Represent the product area in PI planning, team coordination, and dependency management within a SAFe setup.
Continuously refine product performance using data, user insights, and operational feedback.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has at least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager/PO/Program Lead in corporate environments.
Ability to quickly establish structure, value focus, and stakeholder alignment in ongoing initiatives.
Experience with operational user groups (retail, logistics) and high-volume use cases.
Comfortable leading deliveries from multiple vendors.
Experience in change consulting, rollout strategies, and adoption in distributed store networks.
Familiarity with Azure-based environments and Entra ID governance.
Ability to work with event-driven architectures (Kafka/EventHub).
Awareness of UX and usability for operational environments with varying digital maturity.
Fluent in Swedish and English.

It is a plus if you have

A background in large-scale modernization or digital transformation within retail.
Understanding of integration-intensive landscapes such as SAP S/4, CAR, master data, and POS.
Certifications in SAFe / Product Management / Agile Leadership.
Experience with enterprise design systems, reusable patterns, and omnichannel UX.
Broader knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and release governance.
Understanding of store authentication, role models, and permission hierarchies.
