Then you might be the one we are looking for as a Facilities Specialist at Synoptik Sweden.

As a Facilities Specialist, you have a central and responsible role in ensuring that the stores operate optimally from a technical and operational perspective. You are an important link between store staff, external suppliers, and internal functions, contributing daily to ensuring that our customers encounter stores in top condition.

The role is broad and varied, suitable for you who enjoys working in a structured manner, taking initiative, and managing multiple cases simultaneously. You report to the Head of Property & Store Construction Scandinavia and work from their office in Kista, with some travel required.

In the role of Facilities Specialist, you are responsible for:

• Managing and following up on technical operational and maintenance issues in our case management system.
• Ensuring that work orders are categorized, prioritized, and sent to the right supplier and followed up to completion.
• Planning and coordinating preventive maintenance of optical equipment and property technical installations.
• Acting as a technical specialist and providing support to our stores on operational-related issues.
• Participating in budget work related to operations and maintenance, as well as following up on costs and invoices.
• Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance.
• Participating in store openings, relocations, and renovations from a technical perspective.
• Driving smaller maintenance and improvement projects.

We are looking for someone with experience in technical support, property management, or maintenance – preferably in retail. You have a good technical understanding in areas such as electrical, HVAC, and ventilation, and experience with optical equipment is a plus but not a requirement.

You are used to collaborating with external suppliers and thrive in a role with many points of contact. As a person, you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and unpretentious, with the ability to see opportunities rather than problems.
