At SCA Obbola, you will find the world's largest and most modern kraftliner machine. We are working towards the development of a more sustainable society, and with us, you will work with the latest high-tech technology, gain valuable experience from an innovative industry, and contribute to creating products with minimal environmental impact. We are developing the factory of the future!

At SCA, you have the opportunity to make a real difference. With the power of the forest, we contribute to a sustainable future and help our customers around the world reduce their fossil footprints. If you want to develop and think outside the box, you will thrive with us, as we give everyone the opportunity to reach their full potential. We know that it is the people who make the successes! We are currently looking for an Operations Specialist for the Paper Machine at SCA Obbola. Welcome with your application!

Your Next Challenge

As an Operations Specialist with us, you will be a key player in ensuring the operation and driving the development of our high-tech, newly built paper machine – always with safety, quality, and the environment as the highest priority. In this role, you take responsibility and create improvements that contribute to a sustainable future and factory.

In this dynamic role, you will support both the group manager and the operators in daily operations. You will also have close dialogue and collaboration with the maintenance department to create a more efficient flow in our production together. You will handle urgent faults, plan and coordinate the start and stop of the facility, as well as carry out maintenance stops.

This role suits you who enjoy working closely with people and processes. Here you contribute with technical expertise, systematically develop methods and routines, and initiate and drive improvement projects that strengthen the work environment, operational economy, and quality. You will also perform risk analyses and work to ensure safe and efficient production.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently in a role where you have the space to take your own initiatives while valuing good collaboration to achieve set goals together with others. You are clear in your communication and place great importance on being solution-oriented to find new ways forward. Your working style is proactive and structured, and you have the ability to prioritize effectively.

You place great importance on your leadership; you are a person who can lead and distribute work with a focus on including, supporting, and engaging employees. In your leadership, you inspire a safe and health-promoting way of working.

We see that you have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent competence acquired from working life.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English as these languages are used in daily work.
  • A technical curiosity and a desire to contribute to successful collaboration.
  • Good understanding and interest in technology within the process industry.

It is an advantage if you have work experience from the process or paper industry as well as knowledge of SAP. Our core values – responsibility, excellence, and respect – are the foundation for everything we do at SCA. Therefore, it is important that your values align with them.

What Do We Offer You?

With us, you have great opportunities to grow and develop. We encourage competence development, taking responsibility, and realizing your ideas. At SCA, we care for each other and offer an open, supportive work climate. We also understand the importance of a sustainable work life.

As an employee with us, you will work with the very latest technology and be part of the transition to a sustainable society. Our forests and the products we put on the market contribute with a climate benefit greater than the emissions from all of Sweden's passenger cars in a year. We utilize every part of the trees we harvest and produce products from the forest that help combat climate change. Making a real difference adds an extra dimension to the work. The position is permanent, starting by agreement, and located at SCA in Obbola.
