Best Western Royal Star Hotel is a four-star business and conference hotel located in Älvsjö next to the Stockholm International Fairs. The hotel has 103 spacious and well-furnished rooms, suitable for both conference guests and families. We also have three conference rooms, a bar, an à la carte restaurant, and one of Stockholm's largest hotel gyms.

The Role

We are now looking for a full-time Reception and Conference Manager. The position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend work.

We are looking for someone with experience in hotel reception and conference management who is proficient in the hotel system Opera. You should have previous experience in hotel reception, preferably in a leadership position. Experience within the Best Western chain is an advantage. You must be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Other languages are a plus. You are a self-motivated, cheerful, flexible, engaged, and stress-resistant person. You should be professional in your approach and have high social competence. As the Reception Manager, you will be the operational leader in the reception and responsible for the daily operations of the reception and conference.

Your Responsibilities

• You will perform standard reception duties such as check-in and check-out, switchboard, cash handling, room bookings, conference bookings, opening/closing in our booking channels, and taking good care of our guests.
• Appreciate a varied schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Be unpretentious and help out where needed - regardless of the task.
• You are self-sufficient and can work with freedom under responsibility.
• You are responsible for scheduling and staffing for the reception.
