Your new job

In the Solskiftesköket Elderly Care, you will prepare food from scratch with a focus on traditional dishes and flavors. Today, the kitchen serves approximately 150 guests daily within home care and guests in our two senior restaurants in central Åkersberga. We are proud to offer meals that make a difference – every day.

As a cook, you will:

• Be part of a team of 3 with one cook and one kitchen assistant.
• Assist with orders, production materials, and labels in our food data system Mashie.
• Assist with purchasing food and consumables.
• Be involved in menus and have continuous contact with the senior restaurants.
• Have close collaboration with the kitchen for school meals.

Your profile

• Culinary education.
• Experience in large kitchens and cooking for elderly care is an advantage.
• Knowledge of self-control/HACCP and special diets.
• Flavor-sensitive and structured.
• Good social skills, communicative, and collaborates well with colleagues and other functions.
• Good sense of logistics, planning, and prioritization – you see flows and opportunities for efficiency in production.
• Enjoy working towards deadlines and can handle stressful situations professionally.
• Passionate about creating meals that enhance the quality of life for seniors.

Meritorious:

• Experience with the food data system Mashie.
• Knowledge of texture-adapted food.
