Nynäs Havsbad, a picturesque oasis on Sweden's southern coast, is now looking for a driven and experienced Head Chef who wants to help develop our culinary vision. About Nynäs Havsbad
Located just 45 minutes from central Stockholm, we offer a unique working environment by the sea. Our restaurant is known for its high quality, fantastic ingredients, and memorable culinary experiences. At Nynäs Havsbad, we combine relaxation with culinary experiences and activities, and now we are looking for a Head Chef who wants to join us on our journey to continue developing the restaurant to new heights.
About the role:
As Head Chef at Nynäs Havsbad, you will lead and inspire our kitchen team. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure that we deliver food of the highest quality. You will create menus that reflect our guests' expectations and contribute to a unique culinary experience that makes every visit to Nynäs Havsbad special.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and distributing work in the kitchen
- Creating and developing menus that maintain high quality and are characterized by creativity and sustainability
- Managing orders and inventory
- Ensuring that hygiene and safety procedures are followed
- Training and motivating kitchen staff to create a positive and efficient work environment
- Collaborating with other departments in the restaurant to ensure smooth service
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a head chef in a high-quality restaurant
- A passion for cooking and quality ingredients
- Leadership skills and a good ability to motivate and develop staff
- A strong interest in sustainability
- Good knowledge of nutrition and dietary science
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- A humble and positive attitude
About the position
Full-time (100%), permanent position with an initial probationary period of six months. Varied working hours depending on the season, including evenings and weekends.
