About us

Do you want to help us build something meaningful and contribute to equitable healthcare for the children of Södertälje? Read on!

Welcome to a workplace filled with joy and centered around the child!

Capio Alva BUMM is a well-established organization with experienced pediatricians, child psychiatrists, child psychologists, and pediatric nurses. We collaborate in a non-prestigious climate focused on providing the best possible care for children.

We are located in the heart of Stockholm with clinics at Medborgarplatsen, Sickla, and Hagastaden/Upplands Väsby. We are also planning to open a clinic in Södertälje during the first part of 2026 in the same premises as Capio's Health Center, BVC, and midwifery clinic. Would you like to join us on this journey?

We receive children and adolescents aged 0–17 for assessment, treatment, and follow-up of all pediatric medical issues and offer urgent visits for children up to 6 months old. In addition to our core mission, we conduct assessments and treatment for ADD/ADHD. Our experienced pediatric nurses perform medical orders such as blood sampling, spirometry, and allergy testing on-site and have their own nursing clinics.

We have a strong tradition of education. We accept ST doctors and offer regular internal lectures for both ST doctors and other staff members.

We combine long experience with a modern view of pediatric healthcare. Leadership is present, and decision-making paths are short – our operations managers and medical directors work clinically themselves and have a good understanding of the daily operations at the clinic.

We actively work with both medical issues and children's rights as part of our quality and development efforts. Digital and AI-based solutions like Tandem and Evira are already part of our operations, making us flexible and well-equipped for the future.

We work closely between our clinics, creating a broad exchange of knowledge. For those interested, there is also the opportunity to work within BVC. There is great joy in the workplace, and we value all employees' engagement in developing both the operations and the work environment.

Do you want to work in a team with high competence, strong commitment, and the child's best interests at heart? Then we look forward to your application!

Your role

We are now looking for a pediatrician who wants to build something meaningful with us. Do you, like us, want to be part of an engaged team that makes a difference in the lives of children and young people? Welcome with your application!

With us, you will work across the entire spectrum of pediatrics – from meeting children and adolescents with acute issues to following patients with chronic conditions over time. You will assess, treat, and follow up children of various ages and have the opportunity to combine clinical work with the development of new methods. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues from different professions, and you will play an important role in creating security for both children and families. The position also involves supervising our ST doctors and medical students, and there is also the opportunity to work at BVC medical clinics if there is interest.

We offer you

We believe that people perform better when they enjoy their workplace. With us, you will have a job where you can influence. We offer a work environment that promotes engagement and collaboration, as well as ongoing social activities.

About you

To be considered for this position, you should be trained in pediatric medicine. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in BUMM, but the most important thing for us is that you have the right attitude. We value teamwork and the ability to take initiative.

You enjoy challenges, want to be proactive and involved in the development of the clinic, and see collaboration with colleagues as important parameters.

You are confident in your professional role, view development positively, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. We value teamwork, ability, and willingness to take initiative.
