Welcome to Alviks BVC
With us, you will be one of four nurses who work together and are passionate about giving families with children the best start in life.
We conduct family-centered work in close collaboration with parental support, BMM, and open preschools.
Alviks BVC is part of BHV Stockholm Norra, which includes 15 BVC clinics. This allows for knowledge exchange between the clinics and, together with our business developer, we continuously work on improvement and development based on our clinics. You can read more about us at Alviks BVC (https://www.slso.regionstockholm.se/).
We have a close collaboration with Brommaplan BVC through joint meetings and activities.
We offer our employees benefits such as flexible working hours, wellness compensation, free open health care, and occupational pension, etc. You can read more about this at Benefits at Stockholm County's Healthcare Area (https://www.regionstockholm.se/).
Job Responsibilities
As a BVC nurse with us, you will be offered an exciting job where you have great opportunities to develop. You will work independently and have your own responsibility for your area of work but at the same time have colleagues and a present management around you. Training is offered continuously during employment.
We work based on the health mission of child health care, which includes home visits, health checks of children at key ages, vaccinations, and parent group activities, where we focus on the needs of the children and families. We work in the Take Care journal system.
You will work daytime, never on public holidays or weekends. We have flexible hours and individual schedules that you can largely influence.
If you have a special interest in breastfeeding, there is also the possibility to work at one of our breastfeeding clinics.
Qualifications
You should be a nurse with specialist training in children and youth or district care. Swedish language skills equivalent to C1 are a requirement within SLSO, as well as good knowledge of English.
Previous experience working in BHV is an advantage.
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone who is interested in preventive and health-promoting work. The BVC work is largely individual but is also highly team-oriented. The ability to see the needs of the clinic is a valued positive trait. You enjoy building relationships with children and families and thrive on collaborating with other professionals. We prefer that you are flexible, have good communication skills, and can plan your work to suit you and the clinic. We place great importance on personal suitability.
You might be that person who is as stable as you are creative? Who is used to handling many meetings but is still full of empathy? Who is passionate about children and their rights? Who loves to follow families on their journey from newborn to school start?
Then you are exactly right for us. You will be in contact with different types of families and children, which requires you to be flexible and have good communication skills.
Conditions
Permanent employment. Working hours Monday to Friday. If full-time, work at another unit may occur. A probationary period may be applied. Start date by agreement.
Other Information:
We will continuously review applications and may invite for interviews before the application deadline.
Warm welcome with your application! The position will be filled on the condition that it does not need to be allocated for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.
