Description
We are currently seeking a healthcare assistant for Ward 53, part of Northern Stockholm Psychiatry. We are located in Stadshagen at the S:t Göran hospital area.

Ward 53 is a psychiatric ward with 16 beds for patients with bipolar disorder at Northern Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP).
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities for a healthcare assistant include basic care, contributing to a good care environment, demonstrating good communication, patient conversations, and documentation in the Take Care journal system, etc.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained healthcare assistant with a focus on psychiatry/USK, with experience and interest in psychiatric care. We place great importance on personal suitability, valuing flexibility and an open mind. A healthcare assistant certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required (protected professional title), as well as at least one year of experience in psychiatric care.
Conditions
Full-time, permanent position. Start date according to agreement. Full-time corresponds to 37:00 hours/week.

- background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
