About Remeo
We are a small hospital offering a unique form of care in Sweden – intensive care rehabilitation outside the traditional hospital environment. Since our start in 2013, Remeo has developed into a competence center for intensive care rehabilitation where our patients share a common denominator of long-term critical illness. We receive patients from all over the country and have gathered unique expertise in the field with a particular focus on respiratory rehabilitation. We also care for patients who need dialysis in combination with rehabilitation. We also participate in the care chain for national highly specialized care for spinal cord injuries.
What makes Remeo unique?
Remeo offers patients with long-term needs for intensive care a calmer care environment combined with rehabilitation. At the same time, we help free up beds in hospital intensive care units.
We combine high-tech expertise with rehabilitation from day one. Each patient receives an individual care plan and the time for training they need to find their way back to life based on their individual conditions.
We work in multiprofessional care teams where nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc., contribute their expertise to create safe and secure care.
We actively work on development and improvement, with short decision-making paths. All resources are readily available, and we all recognize each other.
Our community is an important part of our care model; together we break new ground in intensive care rehabilitation.
Our environment
The clinic is located in the picturesque Stora Sköndal by Drevviken and currently has space for 14 patients. All patients are cared for in single rooms in fresh facilities adapted for modern intensive care rehabilitation. There is plenty of space for training, outdoor activities in our beautiful garden, and good opportunities for contact with relatives.
The role of specialist nurse at Remeo
You work with advanced medical technology for patients with complex and intensive care needs.
