Vendor Manager

As a Vendor Manager with us, you will have operational responsibility for purchasing within selected brands and suppliers. You will work practically with the entire purchasing process – from needs analysis and purchasing planning to order placement, delivery follow-up, and analysis – and be the link between suppliers, purchasing, sales, and marketing.

What does the role entail?

As a Vendor Manager, you are responsible for the entire purchasing process for your suppliers and brands. The role is operational in nature, with clear responsibility for execution, follow-up, and ongoing improvement – while also having a strategic perspective on the business.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Be responsible for operational purchasing and business development for selected brands – from planning to execution
• Plan and execute purchases based on market needs, sales forecasts, trends, and inventory status
• Ensure correct order placement, delivery monitoring, and follow-up on discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels, availability, and turnover rates
• Actively contribute to assortment development and optimization of the product portfolio
• Build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers and internal partners
• Negotiate terms and agreements and follow up on profitability and results

Who are you?

You are a business-driven and structured person who thrives in operational purchasing work where you take responsibility all the way – from needs to delivery. You have worked for a few years in purchasing, supply chain, or business-oriented roles and feel confident in independently driving purchasing, supplier dialogues, and decisions.

You enjoy working closely with the business, have good analytical skills, and see connections between purchasing, inventory, and sales. As a colleague, you are unpretentious, collaborative, and contribute to the positive team spirit that characterizes our team.

We believe you have:

• Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in operational purchasing work and supplier contacts
• Good business understanding and experience in following up costs, margins, and results
• The ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
