Kista BMM

Kista BMM is part of a family center. The clinic is located in Kista Galleria, about 17 minutes from Stockholm Central. Organizationally, we belong to the Midwifery Clinics Stockholm North within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO), which includes 14 midwifery clinics. Currently, four midwives work with us, and we have a close collaboration with our nearby clinics in Järva and Rissne. You can read more about us at Kista Midwifery Clinic.

About the position:

Standard tasks at the midwifery clinic. As a midwife with us, you will work alongside doctors and the unit manager. Your responsibilities primarily include women, but also children, families, youth, and older women. Your tasks include:

  • Pregnancy checks
  • Parental support
  • Cervical screening
  • Physical and digital visits within sexual and reproductive health

You will be part of a positive and competent team with a strong team spirit!

Qualifications:

  • Licensed midwife with prescribing rights

Meritorious:

  • Experience in maternal healthcare and supervisor training
  • Familiarity with the medical record systems Obstetrix and Take Care

  • Background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
