Welcome to apply for the newly renovated care and nursing home Signeshus in central Kungsbacka! We are located near Kungsbacka station with good communication, with a journey taking 21 minutes from Gothenburg and 26 minutes from Varberg.

We are now looking for you who love to work with people and want to make a difference for those we are here for! Are you a trained nursing assistant, studying to become a nursing assistant, and have a strong commitment to making everyday life a little better for our care recipients? The role of nursing assistant with us

In your role as a nursing assistant with us, collaboration with colleagues and home care is crucial to providing high-quality care with a personal focus and a rehabilitative approach. By creating tailored implementation plans and routines for each care recipient, while striving for a safe and stimulating environment for both them and your work group, you create a meaningful and enriching care experience. We also expect you to be mature enough to mentor interns, students, and substitutes.

You will work with digital tools such as Combine, Intraphone, and Medvind. Your position will include 1-3 different representative assignments and resource shifts. Before starting, you will receive internal training from us in areas such as Developing Employee Leadership, group processes, our digital systems, fire safety, and basic hygiene routines, among others.

Your profile

As a person, you enjoy working in a team and have an easy time meeting and collaborating with others. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional approach towards residents, colleagues, and relatives. Furthermore, you are eager to learn new things and actively participate in the development of the organization, being creative in finding new solutions. You have good computer skills and an interest in learning about our digital tools. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

About us

The residence will consist of 97 apartments distributed over ten units with eight dementia units, one somatic unit, and one unit for dementia under 67 years. At Signeshus, we will collaborate with many different units, including home care, two home service groups, night patrol, service team, digital home care, day care, kitchen, property management, and cleaning.

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent position where the appointment will be about three weeks before the home opens in March. Signeshus will open in April. 4 units will start in April and the remaining 6 at the end of August. It may be that you will work in another unit in the municipality within care and nursing during a period while waiting for the relevant unit to open.

Day and evening service: The position is full-time or by agreement. The schedule is set for days, evenings, and every other weekend. Within the Department of Care & Nursing, all employees within home care and nursing homes are employed at 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the organization.

Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected job title.
