About Us

The Medical Clinic provides the residents of Blekinge with access to specialized care within the internal medicine field, operating at hospitals in both Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

We are a professional knowledge organization characterized by high quality of care, a willingness to develop, engagement, responsibility, and participation. The Kidney Center in Karlshamn provides kidney care, including hemodialysis (HD), peritoneal dialysis (PD), and kidney outpatient services. The dialysis unit has 14 treatment places and is open Monday to Saturday with evening hours on Mondays. The kidney and PD outpatient services are open during the day, Monday to Friday.

The Job

We are now looking for two nurses to join our cheerful team at the dialysis unit who will independently perform hemodialysis treatments. Work within other functions of the kidney center may also be included. The work is based on a person-centered approach, meaning that the patient is involved in their dialysis treatment. This is a challenging and exciting task.

Training will take place alongside experienced colleagues. You will receive an individual introduction period so that you, as a nurse, will feel secure before working independently in the department. If you are a newly graduated nurse, we also offer you the opportunity to participate in Region Blekinge's introduction program, which includes mentorship/coaching.

About You

It is a requirement that you are a licensed nurse. We prefer that you have experience in kidney care and/or dialysis work. If you have supervisor training, that is an advantage. You should be interested in technology in healthcare and able to work independently. As a person, you are engaged, meticulous, and flexible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
