About the Company

We are looking for a substitute teacher in physics and biology for a smaller resource school in Gothenburg to teach grades 7-9. The assignment suits you who thrive in a structured school environment where relationships, clarity, and safety are central parts of the teaching.

The school is a resource school with small student groups and high staff density. The students need extra support in their schooling, and the teaching is characterized by individual adaptation, clear frameworks, and close collaboration between educators and student support. The work is done in teams with a shared responsibility for the students' knowledge development and well-being.

Your Responsibilities

The assignment includes teaching physics and biology in grades 7-9 as well as planning and adapting the teaching based on the students' needs. You collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a calm and predictable learning environment where students feel safe and seen.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• has a teaching degree, ongoing teacher studies, or relevant subject competence in natural sciences
• has experience teaching in the later years of primary school (meritorious)
• is confident, clear, and relationship-building in interactions with students
• has a good understanding of students in need of special support

Experience working in a resource school, special education group, or similar activities is meritorious but not a requirement.
