Hallen Senior Center

Hallen Senior Center has about 60 employees and is located in a quiet neighborhood in Råsunda, close to green areas.

The residence has 69 apartments for individuals with extensive care needs/somatic issues and dementia. There is also short-term accommodation and day activities operated by Solna City.

Hallen is a profile residence with a focus on food and culture. Meals are an important part of life and should be a source of joy, enjoyment, and community, as well as providing nourishment and energy. The food reflects the seasons and holidays.

Skoga Senior Center

Skoga is a senior residence beautifully located in Huvudsta with a view of Lake Ulvsunda. Skoga is Solna's only senior residence operated by the municipality. There are 100 residents and about 120 employees. We have a diverse staff group with a variety of ethnicities and ages, who are passionate about what we do and take great pride in doing a good job.

What Does the Job Involve?

As a care assistant at Hallen and Skoga Senior Center, your mission is to work with your colleagues to create a safe environment for the residents. You will provide good care and plan and execute quality interventions together with the residents.

Your Duties Include

• Case management: follow and implement interventions in residents' care plans
• Offer activities and companionship that provide a meaningful everyday life
• Documentation in social journals (Life Care)
• Service tasks such as laundry, cleaning, serving meals, baking, and other practical tasks
• Perform medical interventions as delegated and collaborate with the responsible nurse and paramedics
• Our digital work tools are mobile phones and computers. This means you need to have a functioning BankID to log in and work in the system.

Who Are We Looking For?

You have

• protected professional title as a care assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• good knowledge of care and support work
• good digital skills at a level required for these tasks
• experience in social documentation
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

We consider it an advantage if you have

• specialist training as a care assistant
• studies in nursing
• experience and knowledge in both somatic age-related issues and cognitive decline or tendencies of isolation
• experience in palliative care.

The assignment requires you to be a secure and empathetic person who is willing to take initiative. To succeed, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and that you are flexible. You are a person who considers the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and can plan and organize your work effectively.
