Magdalenagården is located at Mariatorget and has been working on skills development in the business in recent years.

The unit is star-rated and continues the work with workplace-based training as well as close leadership and team collaboration. The accommodation has 66 places, of which 24 have a somatic focus and 42 have a dementia focus.

We offer

We are six care and nursing homes in Södermalm under our own management and we collaborate to work as equally as possible. There are good wellness opportunities. The administration has an active wellness program, with a wellness grant of 3000 SEK/year and the possibility to purchase very affordable annual passes to Stockholm's municipal swimming halls including gyms. For the right person, there are good development opportunities within the district.

Your role

Become a part of Magdalenagården where you, together with the entire team, contribute to improving the quality of life for our elderly. Together with the occupational therapist, you will be responsible for activity and functional assessments, individual training, functional assessments, as well as training and supervision of staff. You will have a varied role where you organize your work according to the needs of the business.

You will be part of the rehabilitation network that Södermalm has together with the medical responsible for rehabilitation, MAR. Collaboration occurs several times a year where we exchange knowledge, share experiences, and enhance our competencies in various areas. You have an important role in our operations!

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed physiotherapist.
• have experience working in elderly care.
• have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

You are secure, can handle occasional stress, and have personal maturity. You should also be service-oriented and attentive to meet staff, relatives, and other people who come into the business. You have good collaboration skills and are happy to share your own knowledge and experiences and are open to learning from others.

You have empathy in your interactions with others and a genuine interest in working with people. Your working style is characterized by a very good approach. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. If you are also a person with a twinkle in your eye and want to have fun at work, you will fit in with us!
