About the Role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and are a role model in terms of commitment, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a team leader for our building department. In the role of team leader, you will have the overall responsibility to lead and coach your team members while striving daily to provide the best possible customer service and advice to our customers.

Examples of Common Tasks

• Active sales of the product range within the Building Department
• Lead, distribute, and delegate work within the daily operations of your team
• Contribute to ensuring that safety and working environment regulations are followed
• Responsible for the logistics flow. Ensure that the process from order to completion on the shelf is followed.
• Actively work on the display of goods in the department
• Be a role model in terms of advice and sales towards customers
• Identify problems and propose solutions, as well as ensure that standards are maintained

Your Profile

• High school education or equivalent and experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience/education in Building
• Previous experience in a similar leadership role/other leadership experience
• Passionate about providing our customers with the best possible service
• Realize customer projects through professional advice on our wide product range
• You are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Good physical condition as some departments require heavier lifting
• It is an advantage if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4)

Working Hours/Duration: Temporary, seasonal. Full-time 38.25 hours/week. Scheduled working hours day, evening, and every other weekend

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement
