Cook/Cold Kitchen Chef with a focus on cold kitchen & bakery for Teaterbaren at Kulturhuset

Teaterbaren is a privately owned company that has been operating restaurant services at Kulturhuset since 1976 in close collaboration with Stockholm City Theatre and Kulturhuset. We are part of Food Family, which also includes Mässrestauranger in Stockholm and Malmö, Engsholms Slott, and Stadshusrestauranger. Together, we offer culinary experiences at some of Sweden's most renowned cultural and event venues.

We prepare all food from scratch for the many guests at Kulturhuset – whether they come for lunch, dinner, café visits, or special events. About the role

We are now looking for a cook or cold kitchen chef with a focus on cold kitchen and bakery who wants to become part of our creative team. In this role, you will work both on preparing and cooking sandwiches and baking our entire café range, from buns and cakes to pastries and other baked goods. You have a good understanding of ingredients, seasons, and flavor combinations, and enjoy testing new ideas that enhance the guest experience.

The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues in both the kitchen and service, and you contribute to creating a kitchen that is well-organized, clean, and safe. With us, you work according to a rotating schedule with days, evenings, and weekends.

On weekdays, the work mainly consists of baking buns and simpler baked goods, preparing doughs and fillings, and packing and labeling products. You keep order in the bakery and kitchen and ensure that hygiene routines are followed, including washing dishes and cleaning work surfaces. During weekends, you open the kitchen, prepare the day's production such as soups and stews, bake the café's assortment, and make sandwiches according to our recipes. You are also responsible for plating, presentation, and replenishing cakes and other café offerings, as well as ensuring that the workplace remains clean and organized.

We are looking for you with experience from cold kitchen, bakery, or restaurant kitchen who is passionate about genuine craftsmanship and fine taste experiences.

You are:

• Creative and meticulous, with a sense for both taste and presentation.
• Experienced in kitchen or bakery, and comfortable working with various ingredients and tasks.
• Structured and responsible, used to working independently and keeping order in the kitchen.
• Flexible and stress-resistant, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues to create the best possible experience for guests.
• Positive and service-oriented, with a desire to contribute to a pleasant and professional work environment.
• Well-versed in hygiene and food handling, and follows routines with natural precision.
