JENSEN School Kitchen Bro Mälarstrand is looking for a Driver/Meal Assistant

We are currently seeking a Driver/Meal Assistant at JENSEN School Kitchen to deliver food from our kitchen in Bro Mälarstrand (Upplands Bro) to our school units in Västerås and Uppsala!

About the Position

Our meals are prepared in our production kitchen by chefs and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a sustainability mindset and actively work to make the best use of our ingredients. Additionally, you share our thoughts on the importance of safeguarding children's health and well-being, including actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar they consume.

As part of the kitchen staff with us, you have overall responsibility for hygiene in the kitchen and the quality of the meals served at the school, which you take very seriously. You will start from JENSEN School Kitchen Bro Mälarstrand and deliver and serve food to our school units in Västerås and Uppsala using our vehicles. The position is primarily as a driver but will also involve work as a meal assistant.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is positive, service-minded, and an experienced driver with a B driver's license. Furthermore, we expect you to be punctual and have a high attendance rate. At each stop, we take back returns from the previous day's delivery, which are dropped off at the final destination in Bro Mälarstrand. You are responsible and have a great ability to collaborate with both children and adults. It is of utmost importance that you are engaged and flexible in your work and have a positive and solution-oriented attitude, as the job may involve rapid changes. The vehicle used for delivery is a light truck. Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement for this position.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent employment at 75% with an immediate start or as agreed. For this position, we apply a 6-month probationary period.
