We are strengthening our team and looking for a kitchen assistant

As part of Bosön's hotel, conference, and restaurant team, you will work in a unique sports environment where no day is the same. Our guests range from youth at training camps or participants in various educational programs to corporate guests at conferences or private individuals.

You will belong to a small kitchen team that works closely with hotel and conference hosts and bookings to provide each guest with the best possible service and experience.

Bosön has two restaurants. In the Olympia restaurant, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets seven days a week. In Mästarvillan, we have booked groups where we serve coffee breaks, lunch, and dinners as well as a bar.

About the position

As a kitchen assistant at Bosön, you are an important part of our kitchen team and contribute to creating a pleasant dining experience for our guests. Your main tasks consist of producing salad buffets, coffee break buffets, and sandwiches, as well as preparing and serving both cold and hot breakfasts. You will also assist the chefs with simpler cooking and other preparatory tasks in the kitchen.

The position is 80% permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. You will work Monday to Sunday on a rotating schedule, both weekdays and weekends. Mostly daytime, but evenings may occur. Start in February 2026 or by agreement.

Responsibilities

• Produce salad buffets, coffee break buffets, and sandwiches
• Prepare and serve cold and hot breakfasts
• Assist the chefs with simpler cooking
• Perform preparatory tasks in the kitchen
• Receive and unpack goods
• Handle dishes and ensure that all kitchen and restaurant dishes are clean and ready for use
• If necessary, assist the restaurant with setting up, refilling, and clearing coffee break, lunch, and dinner buffets
• Manage waste disposal and recycling according to our standards

Your qualities

• You have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team
• You are also self-driven, see what needs to be done, and are happy to take your own initiative
• You can and enjoy working at a fast pace
• You are meticulous and structured
• You are cheerful, positive, and flexible
• You speak fluent Swedish and/or English
• You have experience with computers and various systems

If you have an interest in sports, you will feel right at home at Bosön.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in similar kitchen work
• Completed education in hospitality
• Education in food hygiene
