The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS LVM home Runnagården receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept women with mental health issues as well as aggressive women with violent behavior. We also accept women receiving medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Job Description

We are now looking for a caretaker on a temporary basis during a renovation period. As a caretaker with us, you will have a broad role where your main tasks include everything from assembly work, changing light sources, and handling incoming requests.

Main tasks within the role:

  • goods reception
  • minor repairs
  • maintenance
  • handling and addressing service requests
  • waste management
  • delivering materials
  • assisting with moves
  • vehicle maintenance

You will be part of a team with two dedicated colleagues. Since the work involves various types of tasks, this requires you to structure and plan well together with your colleagues and have a good ability to prioritize.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with, at a minimum, relevant upper secondary education for the position. You have previous experience in caretaking or property management. You are handy, enjoy physical work, take initiative, and appreciate varied workdays. With an eye for detail and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations, you easily create an overview and prioritize tasks. You are positive, solution-oriented, and eager to help.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

Employment:

The position is a temporary employment until August 31, 2026. Start date according to agreement.
