Signal Technician at Infranord

Infranord has been assigned the task of performing basic maintenance of the railway facility Västra Stambanan, Hallsberg-Laxå and Hallsberg marshalling yard from September 1, 2026. We are now looking for a Signal Technician. Location in Hallsberg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Signal Technician at Infranord, you will encounter an exciting, varied, fun, and social job. With us, you will spend a large part of the day outdoors with your work team and in collaboration with other colleagues. Your work varies between new construction, inspection, and troubleshooting of the signaling system in our railway environment. Much of the work is done digitally, and documentation of controls and fault reports is included in your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education with a focus on Electrical or Signal Technology.
• Approved basic signaling education, e.g., BSG1, BSG2, and Signal Technical Principles and Fundamentals (BSGS)
• Professional experience in signaling work within the railway sector.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Driver's license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work equipment, and track vehicles, low and low voltage
• Safety and Security Leader (SOS leader)
• Supervisor (TSM) for A-, L-, E-protection, and road guard
• SISÄ authorization
• Knowledge of various relay or computer-based signal interlockings (e.g., models 59, 65, 85, 95, etc.)
• ATC equipment and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS
