We are looking for an additional employee for our Office Services unit located in Örebro. In Örebro, there are two people working to manage both Försäkringskassan's and the Swedish Agency for Government Employers' offices. In addition to Örebro, you will also be responsible for the offices in Karlskoga, which means some travel is required.
Service, Support, and Administration
As an Office Services Generalist, you will have a varied job with many different tasks. The work involves informing, guiding, coordinating, and being responsible for the ongoing operations and overall functioning of the office. We serve Försäkringskassan and other affiliated authorities by managing rented premises, working with security issues, mail and goods handling, and IT (on-site support). Your tasks include relocations, removal or establishment of IT workstations. Office Services also handles communication equipment to varying extents.
Office Services provides technical and user support on-site for Försäkringskassan's employees and our external customers. Installation of workstations, troubleshooting, and problem resolution are included, as well as contacts with service partners. We are responsible for the administration of access cards and work with purchasing, procurement, invoicing, office supplies, furnishing, cleaning, climate issues, and workplace environment.
Together with your team, you will plan and take responsibility for the daily operations, both collectively and through independent decisions. To be successful in the role, you should also be able to see the big picture, identify needs, and come up with the best solutions. An important part of the job involves contributing to continuous improvements and development of the operations.
As an Office Services Generalist, you will handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong security awareness. Travel and heavy lifting may occur in the job.

We are looking for someone who
- has a high school diploma or equivalent experience and qualifications
- has good collaboration skills, is service-oriented, and is good at building positive relationships
- has a systematic and meticulous work approach and the ability to see the big picture
- quickly understands problems and tasks and solves them in a relevant way
- has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- is computer literate and has knowledge of the Office suite
- holds a driver's license for passenger cars.
It is advantageous if you
- have worked in a service role where you have interacted with customers in person
- act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
- have experience with case management systems
- have worked with fire safety and security
- have good technical understanding and experience working with on-site support in common IT environments.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. Travel is included in the position. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Swedish citizenship is required for this recruitment.
