Office Custodian at the County Administrative Board of Örebro

The Department of Operational Support aims to develop the organization and create effective and accessible support systems. We support the organization's work regarding safety, communication, HR, finance, law, and other strategically overarching issues.

Job Description

As an office custodian with us at the County Administrative Board, you will be part of the Security and Service unit, where you work closely with local coordinators, security coordinators, and information and data protection coordinators.

The unit also includes registrars and archivists, and you will continuously collaborate with the joint IT function of the County Administrative Boards.

The work is varied and often event-driven, with heavy tasks involved.

Your responsibilities will include

  • management of alarm and access control systems
  • mail handling
  • operation, service, and maintenance of premises, command center, and backup power
  • maintenance and support of technical equipment
  • receiving goods and other office custodian tasks.

The County Administrative Board also has a car pool with nine vehicles that you and the unit are responsible for. This includes contact with suppliers and ongoing maintenance of the cars.

You will also perform practical tasks at the Governor's residence, such as minor repairs, moving furniture, and assisting with certain purchases.

Qualifications

You need to have:

  • several years of documented experience as an office custodian or equivalent
  • good computer skills and proficiency in the Office package
  • a valid driver's license (B).

It is a merit if you have:

  • experience with the Unizon system
  • experience in similar work within a County Administrative Board or another government agency.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-driven, and has a knack for taking initiative. You thrive in close collaboration with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.

You are meticulous, analytical, and structured in your work approach. You have good communication skills and can explain and address questions pedagogically. You express yourself well in both speech and writing and enjoy a social environment with many daily contacts, both internal and external.
