At Skånetrafiken, we are about 500 employees working with business development, procurement, traffic planning, marketing, transport service administration, IT, and customer service. We work to develop our traffic and services so that our customers, currently numbering 475,000 per day, can travel in a simple and sustainable way. Our operations are responsible for coordinating, producing, informing, and following up on urgent disruption information in Skånetrafiken's internal and external channels. Together, we guide our passengers through traffic disruptions around the clock.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our task is to monitor all traffic for Skånetrafiken in real-time, including adjacent counties and Denmark. We are responsible for producing and publishing traffic information, both for urgent and planned deviations via Skånetrafiken's digital channels such as the app, website, and stop signs. We handle external contact with transport companies, the Swedish Transport Administration, and emergency services regarding disruption information.

The assignment also includes reporting deviant disruption information for follow-up to the relevant business area so they can follow up on our delivery to the passengers. We are the primary contact for Skånetrafiken's operational duty during incidents that affect critical operational areas or other authority-initiated events. We communicate all deviation and disruption information to those who meet customers via chat, social media, and other customer channels. Our unit also handles Skånetrafiken's press during on-call hours.

This advertisement refers to a permanent position, three fixed-term positions, and four hourly positions. Our working hours extend around the clock, every day of the year.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a completed upper secondary education and preferably post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant for the position. Additionally, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. You have experience working with large amounts of information in time-sensitive operations to interpret and rework information for a targeted audience. You also have experience in performing operational work, preferably in the public sector. Experience in replacement traffic, both urgent and planned, is an advantage. Work with traffic management, incident handling, public transport, or similar is also advantageous.

You have the ability to simultaneously read and interpret large amounts of information from multiple systems and applications and transform this to publish clear and guiding disruption information to passengers. You also need to be stress-resistant during acute incidents that may affect Skånetrafiken's passengers. Furthermore, you can perform work at varying speeds from calm situations to high tempo in a setting where multiple instances expect delivery from you directly. Additionally, you have a good ability to collaborate effectively in a team but also independently with ease in making decisions that affect many. You need to be flexible and understand that through development, we change working methods to meet the needs of our various stakeholders. The work takes place at all hours of the day, which means you should be able to work varied hours. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
