ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is looking for two Project Assistants for our client CAN - The Central Federation for Alcohol and Drug Information. The assignment is part-time, 20 hours a week, and spans two periods (January 28 - February 11 and April 13 - April 17) with working hours from 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At CAN, The Central Federation for Alcohol and Drug Information, you will come in for a period and assist with the data collection for the survey on school students' alcohol and drug habits. CAN conducts an annual survey among students in the 9th grade and year 2 of high school regarding alcohol and drug habits.

Before the survey distributions, they need reinforcement from students who will work on contacting schools via phone and email to gather information about, for example, the number of classes and students at the school. Documentation is done in Excel, and you will receive all the materials you need to carry out your tasks. The work takes place from their office at Skanstull, Södermalm, and during the period you will belong to the Department of Investigation & Research.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as it is used in daily work
• Is a student at a post-secondary level or has another main occupation of at least 50%
• Enjoys using the phone as the primary work tool

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience in investigations, market research, and/or surveys

The position is suitable for you who are flexible and have good availability for work and enjoy working with the phone as the primary tool. You are service-oriented and find it easy to talk to new people. Furthermore, it is important to be very meticulous and communicative.
