Located near the sea and nature on the Kullahalvön, Sjöcrona Health Center is situated in the picturesque Höganäs in northwestern Skåne. This accredited health choice unit, serving a large portion of Höganäs municipality's residents, consists of nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, dietitians, and specialists in general medicine. We have several nurse-led clinics such as diabetes, REKO, and elderly care. Our team of over 40 employees takes care of our 10,000 registered patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work with sample collection in our laboratory, assist our doctors during examinations and minor surgeries, and manage orders for medical supplies to some extent. Your tasks will also include assisting doctors in outpatient work such as rectoscopy, EKG, and surgeries.

At the health center, we work in teams and utilize everyone's competencies to the best possible extent. We regularly engage in improvement work and have many exciting new projects to look forward to. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to be involved in our development work and understands the importance of sharing knowledge and competencies, all in line with our goal of providing our patients with the best possible care.

We therefore offer you regular training in various areas relevant to the workplace. In return, we expect you to be active and driving in improvement work and organizational development.

Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday with an individual schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a focus on emergency care/health care according to the previous program structure or are a trained nursing assistant within the new program structure who has studied all specializations. Additionally, you have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

To thrive with us, you have a genuine interest in people and are responsible and action-oriented. In our daily work at the health center, rapid changes often occur, and therefore it is required that you can adapt and adjust when necessary. During these transitions, abilities such as having a good overview, being able to plan your work, and maintaining good structure are important. Furthermore, we see a good attitude with a high willingness to serve as other important qualities for us. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant has become a protected professional title. This means that you will need proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant within healthcare and social services. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and are offered a new position, you can retain your title of nursing assistant until June 30, 2033. At any interview/employment, you will need to present proof of the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed on July 1, 2023. If you do not currently have a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or are covered by transitional provisions, it means that the title in your employment contract will be care assistant and not nursing assistant.
