Do you want to work at the heart of Swedish specialist dental care?
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic at Folktandvården Eastman Institute is now looking for a dedicated surgical dental nurse who wants to be part of a highly specialized and forward-looking team.
Eastman Institute is Folktandvården Stockholm's hub for specialist dental care, where all dental specialties collaborate under one roof. Here, clinical excellence, education, and research meet in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment with the patient at the center.
Your mission
As a surgical dental nurse with us, you will have a central and varied role in a highly specialized care flow for both children and adults. You will work broadly within oral and maxillofacial surgery and encounter a diverse patient panorama that spans the entire oral and maxillofacial surgical base, with a particular focus on outpatient oral and maxillofacial surgery. The role also includes a coordinating responsibility, where you function as a coordinator for your team.
The tasks you will support include, among others, dentoalveolar surgery, reconstructive implant surgery, management of pathological conditions, and participation in medical investigations. You will become an important part of our team and work both at the Eastman Institute and at our anesthesia clinics for ear, nose, and throat surgeries at Danderyd Hospital and within orofacial medicine at Danderyd Hospital.
The role offers a stimulating combination of clinical responsibility within your area, specialist competence as a dental nurse, and collaboration in an interdisciplinary environment where quality, patient safety, and development are at the center.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are a trained dental nurse, preferably with surgical training, and who has experience or a strong interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery. You are confident in your professional role and motivated to work in a specialist operation where quality and patient safety are in focus.
As a person, you are empathetic, collaborative, and flexible, with the ability to take your own initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment. Since we are a training clinic, we would like you to have a pedagogical approach and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues and students.
We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for an engaged team player who wants to develop together with us.
Folktandvården Stockholm also offers you various benefits such as:
- Wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK
- Occupational pension
- Salary exchange for pension
- Extra vacation days for those over 40
- Supplement during parental leave
- Opportunity to be part of an incentive model
- Free dental care
- Subsidized medical care
