SiS LVM home Lunden receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept clients who have mental health issues and clients who need medical care. We operate in Lund.

Job Description

Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer position as a treatment assistant at SiS.

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you will help ensure that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and safety of our clients, providing the foundation for daily life such as activities, routines, cleaning, cooking, and more. You contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building good treatment relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the safety and security they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.

As a summer substitute at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

  • Completed secondary education
  • Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care
  • Driver's license B
  • Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformations. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, great empathy, and the ability to create good treatment relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.
