The company is part of the Areco group and consists of 4 sales areas. Sales of sheet metal from our own steel service center in Malmö as well as sales of Special Steel, Metals, and Wholesale products. We are currently located in Gothenburg, Malmö, Stockholm, and Trelleborg. The current placement will be in Gothenburg.

The company is today a leading supplier mainly to the construction, automotive, and engineering industries. The company's business idea is to deliver various types of steel to its customers in the best possible way.

The company has well-established relationships with quality suppliers and possesses solid purchasing and logistics knowledge within the product area, which strengthens customers' competitiveness. The company has a turnover of approximately 1 billion SEK and currently has around 70 employees.

Sales Coordinator

As a sales coordinator, you will work independently and in a team with the purpose of supporting and ensuring that the sales work is successful for the company. You will have an exciting and varied job in an international environment. This means that you will have ongoing contact with customers and suppliers.

With a high level of service, structure, and accuracy, you will contribute to delivering a customer experience that exceeds expectations. The sales coordinator has overall responsibility for ensuring that all follow-up work and its processes function as desired.

Main areas of responsibility and tasks

• Order registration and control of the order flow from received order to delivery.
• Transport bookings and delivery monitoring.
• Act as a backup for the salesperson.
• Manage reconciliations and control of inventory, notifications, and deliveries.
• Support with other administrative tasks in the business such as invoicing.

Experience and knowledge

We are looking for someone who has;

• A relevant post-secondary education and has worked in similar positions with similar tasks, preferably within international trade.
• Good computer skills and can work in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn new business systems and other IT systems easily.
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written form, in Swedish and English. Knowledge of German is an advantage but not a requirement.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
