Purchaser for Automotive Client in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for a purchaser for our automotive client in Gothenburg. This is a full-time consulting assignment starting on February 1, 2025, and will last for one year.

About the Position

The role involves:

• Leading or executing strategic purchasing activities by initiating and driving sourcing and cost reduction, developing and implementing segment strategies within the area of responsibility, and driving strategic purchasing activities within raw materials.
• Establishing processes for managing supplier relationships and goals/programs for continuous improvement.
• Negotiating contracts and coordinating supplier integration plans with internal customers.
• Monitoring market dynamics that affect the availability of materials/services and/or pricing.
• Collaborating with internal customers to identify purchasing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify market trends, and define acceptable service levels.

You are communicative and can collaborate and converse with colleagues at various levels within the organization. Additionally, we see that you have:

• A university degree in purchasing, logistics, economics, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of purchasing experience, including processes & systems.
• Experience in negotiations.
• You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
