Nacka Municipality Raises Its Ambition to Prevent Crime Against Businesses in 2026

Your Mission

This is a temporary assignment to lead two development projects related to crime and business during 2026.

The project “Collaboration with Business Against Crime” aims to establish cooperation between the municipality, police, and businesses in local centers and industrial areas to reduce crime and disturbances.

The project “Coordinated Supervision Against Unfair Competition” involves developing methods for how the municipality's supervisory activities can detect other types of crime where the business form is used as a tool by organized crime.

The role involves spreading knowledge about the issues and how other actors work, facilitating the development work, organizing and engaging business owners, as well as structuring and documenting the methods.

You will be part of the business unit but will work closely with the security staff and other units.

We believe you enjoy driving teamwork. You have the ability to listen to many opinions and engage participants, which you will be able to use in contexts with the municipality's permit handlers as well as with police and business owners.

You are driven by making a difference, wanting to turn good ideas into reality. You are comfortable drafting documents, but satisfaction comes first when the plan has been tested in practice. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Your Experience

We see that the skills needed for the position can be acquired in various ways. We believe you have:

• Knowledge or experience in crime prevention and safety issues or business promotion, through education or work experience.
• Experience in leading projects, groups, or development initiatives.
• Experience in structuring or systematizing and documenting projects or processes.
• Experience in the public sector or other acquired ability to quickly understand regulations and perspectives of the various public actors involved in the projects.

The projects depend on co-financing from the Crime Prevention Council, which will be decided in January. We are keen on a swift process and start date thereafter. The position extends at least until 2026-12-31.
