International Quality Coordinator

About the Position
In the role of international quality coordinator at the International Material Cooperation unit, your main tasks will involve ensuring the implementation of quality assignments from other states in accordance with relevant NATO standards, as well as developing methods and approaches within the area. The implementation of assignments will be carried out by drawing resources from other operational areas within the authority, and you will project manage the operations regarding resources and finances.
You will handle and administer incoming inquiries and represent FMV and Sweden in NATO working groups and collaborations in the quality area. You will also participate in the development of FMV's overall quality work and operational development conducted within the area.
The position is based in Stockholm. Travel within and outside Sweden is required.
About You
We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education or equivalent skills acquired in another way that we consider comparable. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have experience in international collaborations and in leading projects, including finances and resources. The position requires a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
We would like you to have experience working with defense material and collaborating with other authorities or the government. If you have previous experience in operational development and work with auditing, compliance, or quality assurance, we see that as an advantage.

You will work in the International Material Cooperation unit, which is one of three units within the Strategic Material Management department at the authority's Management and Finance Staff. The unit is responsible for coordinating and directing the authority-wide international operations. The unit's assignments include being responsible for FMV's national coordination office for the European Defence Fund (EDF), the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO), and the Nordic Defence Cooperation (Nordefco). Furthermore, the unit is responsible for coordinating FMV's overall NATO-related work and FMV's collective work with the authority's international quality assurance assignments, as well as entering into and managing international cooperation agreements in the quality area.
