We are looking for a dedicated and caring school nurse for our small F-3 school in Uppsala. The school has about 86 students and is characterized by a family-like atmosphere, close relationships, and a strong focus on students.

As a school nurse with us, you play an important role in the school's student health work. You work closely with students, guardians, educators, and school management to promote students' health, learning, and development. With us, you will have the opportunity to truly get to know the students and make a difference in their daily lives.

The position is 20%, one day a week.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

· Conduct health visits and vaccinations according to the national Childhood Vaccination Program

· Work health-promoting and preventive in collaboration with other staff

· Provide medical expert support to school management and educators

· Document in the Prorenata journal system according to current guidelines

· Participate in student health meetings and collaborate with external healthcare providers as needed

· Support students in conversations about health, well-being, and lifestyle.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

· Is a licensed nurse, with further education as a specialist in child and youth, district nurse, or school nurse

· Has good collaboration skills and a professional approach

· Has experience working with children and youth

· Is accustomed to working independently and in a structured manner
