As a local and safety coordinator, you will be a key person in the work to improve the quality of our properties while ensuring that the needs of the operations are met in the best possible way.

Your Responsibilities

The position consists of two overarching parts: safety in properties and projects, as well as local planning and coordination. A common thread throughout the responsibilities of the position is to gradually build a systematic approach and ensure compliance.

• Safety in properties and projects: you will drive the work to create a unified direction for safety within the property ownership responsibility and projects of the Technical and Property Committee. You will participate in the work with design guidelines, drive the authorization process, and reduce risks through safety rounds and preventive measures. You will coordinate strategic solutions such as video surveillance and perimeter protection, analyze incidents, and provide support for police reports. Through close dialogue and training initiatives, you will build understanding and safety in the operations.
• Local planning and coordination: you will ensure that the needs of the operations result in functional local solutions. You will lead needs analyses, coordinate local adjustments and relocations, and ensure that routines in the local supply process are followed.

You will be part of the Management Support Unit within the Technical and Property Management. Here we work with HR, quality, safety, registration, communication, local coordination, digitization, and system management. We are a driven and self-sufficient team with various specialist skills who enjoy collaborating when our areas intersect. You will also be part of the management's safety team and are expected to lead a staff during a crisis.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in property-related safety work and a relevant post-secondary education for the position. It is a plus if you have an engineering degree in construction, property, or community building, or a vocational degree as a safety coordinator or property engineer. If you lack relevant education in the field, you should have clearly documented experience from property-related safety work instead. You have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and can also communicate in English.

In addition to the requirements, it is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in a similar role within the public sector, property companies, or FM organizations.
• Experience in local planning in the public sector.
• Experience in safety and crime prevention work in public environments.
• Experience in the operation and management of public premises and close collaboration with property managers and operations.
• Experience in setting requirements and reviewing physical security solutions in construction/renovation projects, including fire protection.
• Experience in training/guiding operations and colleagues in safety routines.
• Participated in procurement according to LOU of security systems or contracts.
• Familiarity with crisis preparedness and security protection.
• Good understanding of BBR/PBL in practice and fire protection documentation (BBR 5:12) in projects.
• Advanced courses/certifications in camera surveillance law, GDPR, procurement with security requirements, and basic IT/OT security in property systems.
