JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged Safety Coordinator (50%) and Occupational Health Engineer (50%) to join our Business Support team. The role combines two areas of responsibility focusing on supporting safety work and creating a safe and healthy work environment. If you have experience in safety and occupational health work and a passion for developing organizations, this is the right opportunity for you.

Safety Coordinator

As a Safety Coordinator, you will support the Safety Manager in operational work, focusing on maintaining guidelines and routines, as well as developing the safety culture and strengthening the company's resilience. You will:

  • Coordinate and drive safety activities within the organization.
  • Support managers and operations regarding information security, preparedness, physical security, and personnel safety.
  • Participate in risk analyses, incident management, and safety inspections.
  • Conduct training and information initiatives to strengthen the safety culture.
  • Participate in continuity planning and crisis preparedness for critical societal functions.
  • Represent the safety function in internal and external collaborations.

Authorities include initiating safety activities, requesting documentation, recommending improvements, and representing the safety function in various meetings.

Occupational Health Engineer

As an Occupational Health Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring that the company's occupational health work complies with legislation and management systems. You are responsible for system governance, support for employees and managers, and training in the occupational health area. Your main tasks include:

  • Being system responsible for ENIA, EcoOnline, and Ramboll Lagbevakning: training internally, managing system updates, and reporting to managers/leaders.
  • Responsible for legal audits and safety round plans, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  • Ensuring that management systems and governing documents comply with occupational health laws and updating them according to new legal requirements.
  • Supporting managers and responsible parties with the interpretation and implementation of legal requirements.
  • Planning, executing, and following up on internal audits within occupational health legislation.
  • Supporting HR in occupational health strategies, collaboration with safety representatives, and contacts with authorities.
  • Leading collaboration and communication regarding occupational health issues within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant higher education or equivalent, for example in safety, occupational health, social sciences, technology, or law.
  • Experience in safety coordination, occupational health legislation, and management systems.
  • Ability to interpret legal requirements and translate them into practical application.
  • Good communication skills, pedagogical ability, and experience in training initiatives.
  • Experience in system responsibility for occupational health and safety systems (ENIA, EcoOnline, Ramboll Lagbevakning is a merit).
  • A proactive approach and experience in driving projects and improvement work.
