Database Architect with a Focus on Oracle
We are facing an exciting transition where you will be centrally driving the role of database architect. Does it sound interesting to build community-supporting platforms, influence technical choices, and work in a flexible, modern IT environment where you can grow both professionally and personally? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
At the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket), we work for competitive companies and sustainable development in all parts of Sweden. We offer knowledge, networks, and investment opportunities. This provides direct benefits to companies and also creates conditions for companies, municipalities, and regions to meet future challenges. Tillväxtverket is a national authority with a regional presence in nine locations.
About the Position
As a database architect, you will be responsible for developing the long-term direction and practically ensuring Tillväxtverket's database infrastructure, primarily within Oracle. You will work with modern infrastructure and automation, laying the foundation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and other current DevOps tools. You will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, optimizing complex database environments related to financial systems and analytics platforms, as well as maintaining security and regulatory compliance. You are a central member of our agile IT environment, working together with development teams to drive integration flows, improve data modeling, and establish best practices in database architecture.
The role involves extensive collaboration both internally and externally. Internally, you will work closely with development teams within the IT/Development department, together with architects, system developers, and testers. You will also collaborate with system administrators and technical platform managers to ensure stable operations. Operationally, you will be in regular contact with representatives from several of our internal and external user groups to ensure efficiency in financial flows, regional analysis, and verksamt.se.
