Robotic Process Automation Developer

We are currently looking for skilled and passionate individuals to join our automation team as Robotic Process Automation Developers. You will be a valuable part of our efforts to streamline our operational processes.

About the operational area:

The IT and Development operational area at the Swedish Agency for Government Services is responsible for managing and developing the agency's IT environment and delivering IT services to the organization. A key part of the mission is to support IT-related development at the agency based on our customers' and users' needs.

The operational area primarily conducts its activities in Östersund but also has employees in Gävle, Norrköping, and Gothenburg. The operational area consists of four units: IT Projects and Testing, IT Delivery Unit, IT Management, and Strategic IT and Development Support. We are a total of about 60 employees representing a workplace with high competence, friendly colleagues, and present leadership. We encourage increased diversity and equality.

About the IT Delivery Unit and the position:

Within the IT Delivery Unit, we currently have 18 employees, and you will have the opportunity to help build the agency's automation team. The unit plays a central role in the agency's digital transformation - and all of this with a focus on doing it together. The work environment is characterized by high collegial collaboration, a pleasant atmosphere, and open communication. The unit is responsible for technical integrations with external and internal parties, identity management, system development and automation, technical support and access administration, as well as the development and management of several internal systems.

Main responsibilities

In your role, you will work on developing, managing, and maintaining RPA processes in UiPath and actively work on identifying suitable processes to automate. You will work in a cross-functional team responsible for identifying suitable process candidates for automation, evaluating, developing, managing, and maintaining automated processes.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in RPA development
  • Relevant post-secondary education in IT, preferably with a degree, or equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience

Furthermore, you should possess the following abilities:

  • Be creative
  • Be solution-focused and proactive in your work
  • Collaborate with others both internally and externally
  • Be flexible and have an unpretentious attitude
  • Act with good judgment
  • Communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Convey information in a way that others understand

Additionally, it is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience in development on the UiPath platform
  • Relevant work experience in system development, preferably with a focus on Java and experience in frontend development
  • Programming skills in C# / VB or Python or equivalent
  • Experience with API integrations
  • Experience in system management
  • Experience working agile in cross-functional teams
  • Previous experience in the public sector

Other

The position is 100% and permanent. We usually apply a six-month probationary period. The position is located in Östersund, Gävle, or Gothenburg. We offer 49% remote work and 51% on-site. This position requires a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. As an employee, you may also be assigned based on the needs of the total defense.
